A CONCERT OF DEDICATION FOR

"IMMANUEL RISING"

(our fund-raising campaign to cover the costs of our recent capital improvements
and of the expansion and re-energizing of our Mission and Ministry).


was held on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at 4 PM

Internationally Acclaimed Organist, Dr. John Weaver,
was joined by flutists Marianne Weaver and Andrea Leblanc,
trumpeter Fred Sienkiewicz and the Immanuel Choir


Dr. Weaver is the recently retired chair of organ at the Juilliard School in New York City and at Philadelphia's famed Curtis Institute of Music. He also was Director of Music and Organist at the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York. In 2005, John Weaver was named "International Performer of the Year" by the American Guild of Organists. Now living in Vermont, he continues his active career as a performing artist, composer, and leader of workshops and hymn festivals.

John also led a "Family Sing" around the piano in the Immanuel Social Hall on Saturday evening, September 25, 2010, at 7 PM.

Those who attended were invited to contribute to a free-will offering for our
fund-raising campaign, IMMANUEL RISING, which kicks off that weekend.
